Homeowners HO-3 Insurance

Homeowners HO-3, also known as the “Special Form” policy, is a type of homeowners insurance policy that provides comprehensive coverage for your home and personal belongings. It covers your dwelling against named perils such as fire, lightning, windstorm, hail, explosion, riot, aircraft, vehicles, smoke, vandalism, theft, and more. It also includes liability coverage if someone gets injured on your property, as well as coverage for additional living expenses if your home becomes uninhabitable due to a covered loss. For example, if a fire destroys your home, an HO-3 policy would cover the cost of rebuilding or repairing your home, replacing your personal belongings, and providing temporary housing while your home is being rebuilt or repaired.
